The Hawkesbury Valley Community Radio Association Programming Committee comprises:
- Steve Head

All the above are long term residents of the Hawkesbury region.
Hawkesbury Gold was created in response to the ACMA’s refused to renew the broadcast licence of Hawkesbury Radio, which had held that licence for nearly 40 years. Rather than risk the Hawkesbury being without a community radio service, the Hawkesbury Gold entity was formed.
Our objective is to provide a widely inclusive, socially cohesive and enjoyable community radio service that entertains the Hawkesbury while keeping listeners informed about important local events..
We are particularly sensitive to the vital role that COMMUNITY radio plays in times of fires, flood and natural disasters, as well as general community interaction.
